Effective March 15, 2008 we have suspended selling Hickory Hardware, Belwith Keeler, Period Brass products. We are doing this in respect to you are valuable customer. It was a difficult decision but one we had to make. I have been a stocking distributor of Period Brass products since 1999. I have supported them through many difficult times while they moved, changed products. They also had supported me through a transition period. I felt we were a family the type I like to support because I knew in the end my customers would be taken care of. Well that is no longer the case. I have approx. $75,000.00 of their product on my shelf that they no longer support. So if I was to sell you this product and something was wrong unless I had the part we could do nothing. They refuse to even address my inventory situation. I have their product that carries a warranty but they don't support and apparently won't take back / or replace. I say apparently because after many attempts to get this answer no one will talk to me. It is unfortunate to say the least. But I cannot support a line that does not support you and me.
Please consider this when you are selecting your hardware for your home. Make smart choices for you.
